Holiday Gift Book—Order by December 19th!

Many have asked if it’s possible to buy copies of Going to See the Elephant as holiday gifts given that the book won’t officially be for sale in bookstores until December 30th.

Thanks to our good friends at the wonderful San Francisco independent bookstore, The Booksmith … It is!

Here’s how…

1. Place your holiday order with The Booksmith by:

(If you would rather not send your credit card over email consider sending the Booksmith your gift addresses by email and calling them with your credit card number.)

2. Give them the names and addresses of your gift recipient, plus your payment information.

3. Don’t forget to tell them how you would like the books personalized by Rodes, (signature and/or message).

4. The Booksmith will send a custom printed card to you, or to your gift recipients, letting them know a copy of “Going to See the Elephant” has been purchased for them. Here’s what the card looks like:

5. A personalized, SIGNED copy of the book will be mailed to your gift recipient(s) for delivery the first week in January.

6. Sit back and know that your holiday gift list is all taken care of … don’t forget to order one for yourself!

By ordering in advance you get a special signed copy of the novel that’s been praised by Tom Wolfe, James Patterson, and Daniel Handler and was recently awarded a starred review in Booklist.
